There are questions and answers on the Glassfish open source license, but none of them could give a definitive answer. I've seen the license page too, but would like to clarify it.
If a company wishes to use the Glassfish open source server, would the company be allowed to let its developers to use the glassfish server for development of their proprietary software and when it is time to sell the software to a client, the glassfish server installer will be bundled in the DVD which installs the company's proprietary software. The company would not be interested in modifying the source code of Glassfish at all. They just use the Glassfish installer which is obtained from the oracle website for free.
Would this be permissible as per the license?
